Description

Photograph: A black and white photograph showing dress parade at the Page Military Academy in Los Angeles, 1918 (derived from the labeling in red ink of the photograph, which is misidentified as the Pasadena Military Academy.) The photo shows students in military dress in dress formation in the foreground. In the background are some buildings and trees, though vaguely seen. An arrow in blue ink points to Thomas W. Temple II who attended the school from 1917-1919. The photo was mounted to a scrapbook page and the photo cut out of the book. On the reverse are parts of two photographs, the one on the right labeled "Upperdeck Cabin of S.S. Mary", the other unidentified. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The photo is in fair condition. See description. Number-Units: 1
