DRIVEWAY NEAR LA CASA NUEVA AND EL ENCANTO CONVALESCENT HOSPITAL, 1976
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the driveway near La Casa Nueva and El Encanto Convalescent Hospital, 24 September 1976. A tree is in the center within a rectangular-shaped planter. To the right is a palm tree and, on the ground below, are cabbage-like plants, weeds, and dirt. On the left, right, and back are three square-shaped concrete pillars marking the corners of the planter. In the foreground is the driveway which can also be seen behind the planter. This section of the driveway was located on the west side of the site and was removed upon restoration of the Homestead. To the background is a small concrete wall running across the back, bushes, trees, and the buildings of El Encanto on the right. On the back bottom right corner is a stamp in black ink crediting Duane C. Alan as the photographer and also providing his business information. The image is one of two, with the same number, and in good condition.
