Description

Color: Green; Orange; White A pamphlet for Dubois Woven Wood fences, ca. 1920s. The artifact has a paper cover with an image of a woven wood fence and gate, behind which are some trees in dark green and clouds in orange and in front of which appears to be a circular walk and pool or pond with what may be orange lily pads floating in it. The product name is at the bottom with the added comment "Made in France." A short description of the origins and use of the product is on a few pages, accompanied by a few engravings of fence types and a list of American purchasers. The last page notes that the fence is imported solely by Robert C. Reeves Co. of New York, while at the lower right corner is the inscription "Louis H. Frohman / Advertising." At the back of the object, held by three flaps is a series of ten photographs of the fencing used in the United States, these items being numbers .2-.11. A business letter from the Reeves company is item .12. While the cover has some edge wear and there are a few creases on the pages, the artifact is in good condition.
