Description

Color: Black; White A black and white reproduction photograph of a group of over 20 students from Dummer Academy with a broken-down bus, ca. 1928. The young man with black hair, peeking his head out from the window appears to be Walter Jr. The group, most of them standing to the left or on the car, while others sit inside or on the back bumper and running boards, are likely students and some faculty traveling with an athletic team from the Academy on a road game. The car is a large black sedan but most of it obscured by the group. Although a dense group of trees are in the background, there is no indication of where this was taken or who the men are. At the bottom of the original is a washed-out area from exposure problems. With little indication of damage or wear, the object is in good condition Number-Units: 1
