The dustjacket for "Sword & Candle," by Sidney Herschel Small (Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company,) 1927. The item is purple with the book title and author's name at the lower right of the front in gold and an image of a sword and candle in white and gold throughout. The title, author's name, and publisher's name is on the spine. On the back is a list of other fiction items offered by the publisher. The gatefolds explain the book and Small's accomplishment in writing it. In good condition, the item has some edge rubbing, minor soiling, light discoloration and fading, mainly on the spine, some stains, and small edge and corner tears.Lexicon
