Description

A stereoscopic photogtaph, "East L.A. From Elysian Park, 1920." The personally produced view may show Figueroa Street paralleling the Arroyo Seco, as well as Avenue 26 crossing the watercourse, at what is now Glassell Park, rather than towards Lincoln Heights, and there are mostly residences and a few commercial structures. The title is typed and written on the front and, on the reverse, is the ink inscription, "A View from Elysian Park North East. Hardly looks the same now." With surface scratches, matte bumping and soiling, the condition is good overall.
