Description
The photograph is of Echo Park Avenue in Los Angeles, California, ca. 1905. A view of Echo Park Avenue at the junction with Morton Avenue, looking south toward Sunset Boulevard. In the foreground there is a home on a plot of land. The streets are made of dirt roads with Echo Park Avenue being lined with telephone poles and a clusters of homes and windmills along the distance. The photo was taken by James Watson in the early 1900s and originated as a glass negative. With some abrasion damage on the mat as well as staning of the photograph, discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
