Description

Color: White An ecru-colored table runner, ca. 1920s. The edge has a narrow line of cut work with two beaded lines and a central line with more open working. About 5" in from the left and right edges are two fields bordered on two sides by dual lines of small cut work holes. Within are angled sections of cut work meeting at the center where there are four cut work diamonds. Embroidered throughout the panels are geometrical patterns and lines, some of which resemble flowers. Three of the latter of these are on the edges of the panels facing the left and right sides of the piece, while 16 more are on the edge of the center panel, which is plain and unadorned. With little indication of wear or damage, the piece is in good condition.
