Color: Black; White
A black and white reproduction photograph of Edgar Temple diving into the Homestead swimming pool, ca. 1920s. The original image was photographed and much of the background on which the original was shot is visible. The photographer stood at the south edge of the pool and Edgar is at left diving into the water. He wears a dark colored swimsuit and has his hands extended out toward the water and feet in the air. At the right is the end of the diving board from which he jumped. Around the pool is a concrete pad and surrounding it is a pipe fence. In the background left is part of the fence, handball, and basketball hoop in the tennis court, adjacent to the north of the pool. Some landscaping, though not identifiable, is in the background as well. On the reverse upper left is the penciled inscription "Bert Temple?" With little indication of damage or wear, the image is in good condition.
