Color: Black and white
A black and white reproduction photograph of Edith C. Temple, ca. 1920s. The image shows Temple in a head and shoulder view against an indistinguishable backdrop and the bottom of the image shadowed. The only article of clothing visible is some kind of light fabric veil which is probably part of a dress and she wears a necklace. Temple is seen facing the camer and her hair apears to be pulled up in back. Temple was the third of the eight children of John H. and Anita D. Temple, who owned the Homestead from 1888 to 1899 and was the subject of a 1982 oral history interview with the Homestead. The photograph is in mint condition.
