Eggbeater, metal, manufactured by Dover Stamping Co., double beater design, beaters composed of two shaped strips of metal joined to a molded one-piece body with attached beater top, single hand hold at unit top, and single gear at side with attached lathe-turned wooden knob. On hand-hold marked "DOVER STAMPING CO."; on the reverse side reads "GENUINE DOVER"; gear marked "DOVER EGG BEATER/MADE IN BOSTON U.S.A./PATD. MAY 6 1873 APR. 3D. 1888 NOV. 24TH. 1891"; reverse tooth side of gear marked "2".
