Description

EL CAMPO SANTO CEMETERY FROM THE NORTHEASTERN CORNER, CA. 1920S Color: Black; White A negative of El Campo Santo Cemetery from its northeast corner, ca. 1920s. The view shows such features as the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum at the right, much of the 19th-century cast-iron fenced family plot at the right, including the John Rowland tombstone, three in-ground grave markers in the foreground, grass lawns, arbor vitae plants and other bushes and shrubs and several small palm trees. In the distance at left is the top of the Puente Hills. Aside from a darkened bottom edge, which does not intrude onto the image, there are no indications of damage or wear and the condition is good.
