Description

Color: Black; White A black and white negative of El Campo Santo from Evergreen Lane, 24 September 1976. The heart-shaped planter is located near the bottom center of the image with one palm tree, grass, and three rose bushes planted in the middle. Also within the planter are seven sprinklers which appear on. Evergreen Lane circles around the planter, has cracks in the pavement near the bottom, and puddles from the sprinklers along the sides. Several bushes are located in the back along a curb and in front of the west brick wall to the cemetery. Through the entrance of the wall is the slopping cornice and four columns of the Neo-Classical mausoleum. Along the front of the building's architrave are the words, "WALTER P. TEMPLE MEMORIAL." To the far left, and in the distance, are two commercial buildings. A bridge going over San Jose Creek, which is Hacienda Boulevard, is on the far right. The artifact is in good condition.
