Description

EL CAMPO SANTO WEST WALL NORTH SIDE AFTER RESTORATION Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of the north side of the west wall at El Campo Santo, 1979. It appears, judging from the completeness of the reconstructured north wall, at left, that the restoration of the wall was completed in general, though there are sections of the original west wall that appear to be damaged and in need of repointing. Also it is not clear if the black decorative metal balls at the pillars are reestablished. Dirt in the foreground shows that landscaping had not yet been done. There are trees and bushes, however, in the cemetery, while in the background left is part of the east parking lot for the proposed hospital. In good condition, the object shows little indication of wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
