Royal Market, Graham Photo Company, ca. 1929. The view is of the Spanish Colonial Revival-style structure at the intersection of Hoover and Eighth streets in Los Angeles. The L-shaped structure has open stalls in a portico alignment and there is an enclosed space at the far right. An inscription at lower center reads "'Royal Market'/ 8th and Hoover Sts. / Los Angeles, Calif. / equipped by / Henslee Corporation." On the reverse is a stamp with the photo studio's name, phone number, and address With minor soiling and edge wear, the condition is good.Lexicon
