Description

A large-format cabinet photograph of the Eli Cooper house, Pasadena, ca. 1890s. The image shows three persons on the porch of the single-story, high-pitched four-gabled Stick house. The photographer stood in an empty field off to the right side and around the home are small trees, a lawn, flowering shrubs and a trailing vine on one corner of the porch. An ink inscription on the reverse identifies the building and its location at Catalina and Del Mar avenues. With some soiling, stains, edge rubbing to the mount and scratches, the overall condition is good.
