Description
A press photo of Elmer Goss climbing the exterior of a Los Angeles building, The Sun and New York Herald Syndicate, 14 March 1923. The view shows goss ascending the building a few floors above ground level and stopped at a point near a window a floor below the photographer. The right half of the image shows the street with cars and pedestrians. The typed caption, which is separated, noted that Goss fell from the eighth story, landed on an awning and bounced virtually unhurt to the street. After reporters arrived, Goss offered to climb back up to show how he climbed the structure and fell. Aside from the loose caption, there is some browning and some creases, but the condition is good.
