At the center of the back is, "Build / better and / classier / Fireplaces / and Mantels / with Standard / brick at / a fraction / of the cost / of Moulded / or Shaped / brick." All of the printing on the cover is in brown. At the beginning of the inside are a title page; a foreword; and articles about ideal fireplaces, the advantages of brick, and brick selection. Over fifty fireplace designs are included with such styles as Plain, Colonial, Outline, and Design. At the end are hearth designs, mantel shelf suggestions, and diagrams of fireplace construction. Many line-drawings are included. With abrasions; light creases and dents on the cover; pressure-sensitive tape on the front; some surface soiling; and light stains on the cover, the object is in overall fair condition.Lexicon
