Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of an overlook at Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe, 1932. The photographer stood near a dirt embankment, which is at the bottom of the image, and directed the camera toward the bay, which spans most of the lower two-thirds of the image. In the middle of the bay is a small island. At left background is a spit of land jutting out into the bay and lake junction, while the left foreground has part of a pine tree. Image 68.3 shows Agnes Temple Fatjo standing very near this spot. The date is determined by a photograph from the same trip that shows a dated license plate on the car, in which Agnes was driving. On the reverse upper edge, in black ink, is the inscription "Emerald Bay." At the upper right corner is a stamped number "96." With some water damage and remains of mounting corners at the bottom edge of the front, the artifact is in fair condition.
