Wemple, whose company supervised the landscaping for the Homestead's restoration, is shown in a head and torso view, wearing a light-colored polyester suit, white shirt, and dark tie and having his hands in his lap. Behind him is a plain gray background. On the reverse lower edge is a penciled inscription "Emmet L. Wemple, ASLA / Landscape Architect." With no indication of wear or damage, the object, which has a corresponding negative in 99.6.10.229, is in good condition.
