Description

Color: Black; White A photograph of the entrance to El Campo Santo Cemetery, ca. 1932. Taken from the driveway that passed in front of the entrance, the image shows the paved walk and curbing outside the gate, dense growth of plantings that cover the brick wall, the fence, which is closed and secured with a length of chain and, presumably, a lock, and behind the gate a portion of the west elevation to the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum. One ball finial, on the right pillar next to the gate, peeks out above the planting below it. The photograph has a crinkled edge and there is a rectagular piece with two holes for mounting the image into a paper album, which is item 49.2. In good condition overall, the item has only minor reverse discoloration and paper bowing. Number-Units: 1
