Color: White
An envelope containing a Christmas card, item .1, 1929. The plain white envelope has an address at the front center, in dark ink, reading "Miss Mildren Barrett / Brookfield / Mass" while at the lower left is the inscription "c/o Mc Lurrin [?]" At the upper center is a postmark from Springfield, Mass dated 20 December 1929 at 12:30 p.m., while at the upper right is a red two-cent stamp with an image of George Washington. The signing of the card "Sis / Myrtle" identified the sender. With some edge wear and a few tears, ink stains on the back flap, creases and foxing, the artifact is in fair condition.
