Color: Black, white
An envelope with Walter P. Temple's return address, ca. 1920-1923. The return address is located on the top left hand corner, printed in capital letters and black ink. The top line reads, "WALTER P. TEMPLE"; below in slightly smaller print is "EL MONTE, CALIFORNIA." The top right corner has two creases with foxing just below; a stain, possibly caused by an adhesive, runs from top center half way down; with overall discoloration and surface soiling. The flap's glue has become moist enough over the years to seal. The envelope was given to Paul Spitzzeri by the Historical Society of San Gabriel and was part of their Thomas W. Temple II collection. The envelope is in good condition.
