A receipt issued to Milton Kauffman by Title Guarantee and Trust Company, 1910. On yellow paper, the receipt has the company name and address with amount of capital stock held at the top. There are lines below with city and state; date (which appears to read 91-8?); payer's name; amount paid; order number; escrow number (which is blank); signature of escrow clerk and signature from the cashier. It is not known what Milton Kauffman's loan was for or why this was in the possession of the Temple family. In fair condition, the document was folded in half horizontally and in fourths vertically; there are ink smears at the cashier's signature in the lower right and transfer stains from that name on the lower left; there are many creases; and the document is slightly discolored.
