Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of Evergreen Lane, looking toward the cemetery, ca. 1941-42. The photographer stood in the center of the driveway looking east where, in the distance, some persons are walking on the lane and behind them is the sentinel palm in front of El Campo Santo. The driveway is lined with a low wall, higher on the north, or left, side than on the south, or right. Large bushes and shrubs, as well as firs and pines flank the drive, as well. On the right is a turnout that probably led behind the former garage, which is on the right, but obscured, and in front of the former foreman's residence. On the reverse center is the penciled number "25." Other than very light discoloration, there are no signs of wear or damage to the photograph, which is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
