Description

Color: Black; White A copy of a black and white photograph of Antonia Margarita Workman Temple and F. P. F. Temple, ca. 1860s. The two are in a studio which has a curtained backdrop of a paneled wall behind them. Mrs. Temple is seated and has on a dark-colored dress with a very wide bustle and a floral-patterned segment that drapes over the front below the waist. She also wears black lace gloves and has a chain around her neck. She also appears to be holding something white in her right hand, but what cannot be determined. To the left stands Mr. Temple next to his wife. He wears a dark-colored suit with jacket, vest, and pants; dark-colored shoes; white shirt and necktie. At the bottom right of the image is a photographer's imprint reading "CURTIS / L.A. COPY." This is an imprint found on some 1920s family photos. On the upper part of the reverse is the penciled number "2001." With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
