This image was from a copy of the original, done in the 1920s by Curtis Studios in Los Angeles. In this image, the couple is in a portrait studio with a backdrop of faux wood paneling. Mrs. Temple sits in a chair and wears a dark-colored dress with a very large bustle, the front of which has a piece of silk with a floral pattern. She wears dark-colored lace gloves and holds her hand in her lap. Standing to the left of Mrs. Temple is her husband, who wears a dark-colored three-piece suit, white shirt and light-colored tie. On the upper part of the reverse, in black ink, is an inscription by a former museum curator reading "Francisco Pliny Fiske [sic] Temple and Antonia Margarita Workman / Source - The Walter P.
