Color: Black; white
A photograph of F. P. F. Temple, the original of which was done in 1892 by S. P. Portral and mounted in a folio by Mullender studio of Los Angeles, ca. 1920. The image shows Temple in an upper torso and head view with him wearing a dark colored suit, white shirt and dark colored tie. He may also have on a vest but it is not clear. The photographer's imprint is on the lower right and clearly says 1892. The folio, however, has the name Mullender written in pencil on one of the mattes and stamped on the inside of the left gate. The two mats are of a dark and light green with different textures and there is a very thin paper sheet that goes over the image. The folio is of a light colored textured paper. Mullender was the name of Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin's granddaughter, Rosebud, and her husband, Joseph--this is probably the same family. The photograph has a dented corner and may be discolored, while the folio has some corner dents; a few small stains; and some creases, while the inner sheet is torn and badly creased. The object is, therefore, in fair condition.
