F. P. F. TEMPLE II, F. W. TEMPLE II, EDITH TEMPLE AND AN UNKNOWN GIRL, CA. 1898
Color: Black; White
A reproduction black and white photograph of siblings F. P. F. Temple II, F. W. Temple II, and Edith Temple with an unknown girl in a posed outdoor photograph, ca. 1898. The oldest of the three Temple children, F. P. F., stands next to the older unkown girl in the back, and wears a dark-colored shirt while his younger brother, Francis W., wearing a white shirt, dark knee-length trousers, and dark-colored high boots, stands at the right. Edith stands at the front left, wearing a dark-colored dress with puffed sleeves and high laced boots. The older girl wears a dark-colored dress with a short jacket--part of her face is missing due to a loss of part of the image. A dark-colored dog stands in the back, next to F. P. F. The children stand on a brick walkway in front of a small tree. There appears to be an empty field in the background. The edges of the image show part of the border of the cabinet card, including, at left, the name of the photography studio and location. As a newly created copy photograph, the artifact is in mint condition.
