A letter (a) and envelope (b) from F. W. Bishop to A. Steffen, 22 December 1894. The letter is an order for cigars by a Los Angeled dealer to an Indianapolis manufacturer with some commentary on smokers' preferences for darker cigars. With folds, some small ink stains and a few creases, the letter is in good condition, while the envelope has browning, soiling and creases and is in fair condition.
