The view book contains black-and-white photographic views, mainly of natural scenes, in southern California, from the lower Sierra Nevada mountains to San Diego that appear to be reprinted from the newspaper's "Art Supplement" section. The covers are extensively worn with tears, stains, soiling, creases, pest damage and missing sections.
