First graduate from Airtech School of Aviation, Los Angeles, 1 November 1929. A press photo by the Los Angeles Bureau. Depicted are Joseph Sefton Wakefield, 22, being presented a letter of authority from the Department of Commerce, by I. N. Lawson, the Junior President of the school. Wakefield wears a pilot's helmet and an airplane is in the background. There is a typed description on the reverse. The photograph is in good condition with minor surface soiling, fading and warping.
