A black and white photograph of the First Methodist Church, 9 N. Almansor St., Alhambra, February 1997. The Spanish colonial revival style church is seen at center while the front facade, behind the trees, faces Main Street, which is in the foreground. At far right is Almansor Street. In the background at left, behind a low tree, is a flat roofed structure with several small square windows. Now the rectory for the church, this was the Walter P. Temple family home from 1917 to 1923. The portion seen is the rear of the home with the first floor consisting of the service quarters and the second floor a part of a bedroom. The church was constructed in 1926 after the property had been sold by the Temples. The photo is in mint condition. None
