Description

FIVE ADULTS AND TWO CHILDREN, VIGARE FAMILY, CA. 1930S Negative: A black and white photographic negative of five adults and two children posed near a house, ca. 1930s. The identities of the persons are not known, but they are members of the Vigare family near the family adobe, an historic structure still standing in San Gabriel. The woman holding the young boy appears to be Gabriella Quiroz Temple. The photographer was probably Thomas W. Temple II, who lived in the home from 1930 to 1938. His aunt was Luz Vigare, sister of Laura Temple. The condition is good with little evidence of wear. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. None Number-Units: 1
