Five persons at the steps of a house, San Dimas, California, M. B. White, ca. 1900. The two men, one woman and two girls are on the ground or steps of the stairs leading to the wood frame house. Branches from a nearby tree hide much of the structure. On the reverse left edge is the pencil inscription, "No. 5 By M. B. White / San Dimas / Calif." At the top is the name "Lydia" and what seems to be a surname starting with "Buh---" Below this at center is "East view of Schynad-- / ome San Dimas Calif" and there are a few letters at the end of the surname that are missing or indicipherable. At the top of the front is the pencil inscription, "PICTURE." With heavy to moderate soiling, edge wear, abrasions, acid burn, accretions, and fading, the condition is fair to poor overall.Lexicon
