Description

A snapshot of flood damage along the Arroyo Seco, Highland Park, Los Angeles, February 1914. The photographer stood at a distance along the creek's east bank and captured the destroyed Avenue 43 bridge and some homes in the distance, as well as the bare hills to the west and south. Plant debris is also notable in and along the creek. On the reverse is an inscription, "Los Angeles 1914." With only light soiling, the condition is good.
