A snapshot of forty lions in an enclosure at Gay's Lion Farm, 9 February 1930. The view shows the chain-link fenced area with animals lying on the ground and on large logs placed at angles from the ground. The photographer stood a short distance from the enclosure. On the reverse is a descriptive inscription and the date. With soiling, creases, and bumped corners, the overall condition is good.
