Description
A photograph of four boys in a floral decorated horse-drawn buggy for the Tournament of Roses, Pasadena, ca. 1900. The image shows the conveyance parked alongside a street next to a large Colonian Revival house on expansive grounds. The boys wear white suits and caps and sit in the buggy which is heavily decorated with flowers. At the bottom margin of the photo is "PASADENA, CAL." in pencil. On the reverse in pencil is the same inscription and another contemporary one in ink reading "For Ben." With some soiling and edge rubbing on the mount, and light soiling on the photo, the condition is good.
