A real photo postcard of four men in an arc light shop, Los Angeles, postmarked 30 September 1914. The view shows the men sitting on a bench against a wall with what are presumed to be the lights on either side. On the reverse of the used card is a message reading, in part, "This was taken in the shop one sunday eve by the Arc lights we use." It is possible these lights were used in early motion picture production. With some soiling and light edge rubbing, the condition is good.
