A real photo postcard of Fred Cleland, Compton, California. 30 May 1909. The image shows a teen boy wearing a baseball uniform for Compton High School. He is standing in front of a large shrub and wearing a baseball glove on his left hand. His uniform has a patch with the letter C inside a diamond toward the right of his chest. There is residue of album paper, and adhesive. Also, there is severe abrasion damage and loss of the back layer. There is mirroring, minor abrasion, so the object is in good to fair condition overall.
