Description

Freemason / Knights Templar Sword Belt. Leather belt with a silver and black striped fabric stitched onto the exterior. The silver buckle has a red Knights Templar cross with the Latin phrase "IN HIC SIGNO VINCES" meaning "In this sign you will conquer." From the left waist hang three leather straps which are covered in silver and black striped fabric and have a spring hook at the end of each that a scabbard would be attached to. Although the spring hooks were invented in 1925, we do not know what this belt was made. With fabric pulling from the leather, fraying, and a stain, the object is in good overall condition.
