Description
FRENCH DOOR, NORTH SIDE OF LA CASA NUEVA LIVING ROOM
Color: Brown; White; Yellow
A color photograph of a pair of french doors in the north side of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1977. Most of the wooden frame is darkened in shadow and the sunlight renders the colored pieces of glass in the six leaded glass panels virtually clear and indistinguishable in their colors, except two dark red pieces at left center and lower left of the window. Through the glass can be seen some of the front area of La Casa Nueva, including the surrounding adobe wall and some of the landscaping. There is something shiny at the bottom left, made of wood, but it cannot be determined what this may be, though it certainly is not the floor. Aside from some surface soiling, there is little indication of wear or damage, and the artifact is in good condition.
