Description

Color: Black; White A photograph of the front elevation of the Mission Santa Barbara, 1900. The view is taken from the dirt driveway approaching the structure and shows the long colonnade and tile-roof of the two-story rectory and, at the far right, the distinctive church entry with its twin domed bell towers. In the foreground are two men walking from the rectory on the driveway. At the far right are the hills and mountains east of the mission. On the center of the reverse is the penciled number "63" and the letter "D" at the upper right corner. With rubbing; residue on the back, possibly from a scrapbook on the reverse; minor edge creases; surface soiling; yellowing; and warping, the overall condition is good. Number-Units: 1
