The Homestead area from the west, ca. 1926. The view, taken from the fields next to Evergreen Lane, the entrance road to the site, shows La Casa Nueva under construction, the Water Tower and part of the auditorium. In the foreground are some bushes and shrubs, with the dirt road, lined with pine trees and other plants, at the right. A few palm trees also stand near La Casa Nueva, but the Tepee is not built, hence the date. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.Lexicon
