Description

Color: Black; Green; White "Furs and Fashions; A Magazine of Fashion, Fact and Fiction," Vol. 2, No. 5, published by Theo F. Siefert, December 1926. The 14-page booklet has a white paper cover with the title and date at the top of the front. A drawing of a woman in a fur coat is at the center. To her right is a green Christmas tree topped by a shining star, and at the left of the back are many skyscrapers. At the bottom is the name and address of the publisher, and all of the printing on the front is in black. On the back is an article entitled, "Furs Down Thru [sic] the Ages." At the beginning of the inside is a note on furs as the perfect gift and a holiday greeting. The magazine has several articles, one of which is "Sporting the Sport Coat," as well as a short story, "Christmas Magic." Many black and white photographs and illustrations are included. With some abrasions; creases; soiling; light surface soiling; and tears at the top and bottom of the spine, the artifact is in fair condition.
