GABINO DELGADO AND ANTONIO BRAZO AT DELGADO HOME
Color: Black; White
A black and white reproduction photograph of Gabino Delgado with Antonio Brazo at the Delgado home, ca. 1929. The son of Eulalia Delgado, a household employee of the Temple family, Gabino is posed, seated on a wooden chair and wearing a white shirt, light-colored snap-brim cap, and dark-colored pants and shoes at the rear of the family's home. He holds a dark-colored guitar in his lap and his right hand is as if strumming the strings while his left hand plays the chords. Standing to the right of Gabino is Antonio, who wears very similar clothing, except that his shirt sleeves are rolled up to the elbow and he has a clarinet at his mouth, with his hands fingering the note holes. Behind the two to the right is part of the back wall of the home with door and window openings; a stove flue coming out of one window; a drain spout and another chair against the wall. To the left are plants, such as what appears to be corn and some trees. In mint condition, the image has no wear or damage. Copy of negatives by Paul Spitzzeri.
