Color: Black; Green; Red; White
"Gathering Walnuts in Orange County, Cal.," published by M. Kashower Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1915. The colored photographic image shows four farm laborers gathering walnuts from the ground, presumably after they were shaken from the trees. One laborer stands at the center holding a bucket filled with nuts. There are two main rows of trees, spaced far apart, though there are parts of many other rows at the left and right. At the top is the caption and the number "980." On the reverse of the divided back postally-unused card is the phrase "POST CARD" with the publisher's logo in between the words, indicators of space for writing and for the address, a box for the stamp, and the name and location of the publisher at the far left. With corner rubbing, light surface soiling, foxing on the back, stains on the back, mainly at the right edge, and some minor yellowing, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
