Description
General John J. Pershing in a Los Angeles parade, 26 January 1920. The image shows the general and World War I hero standing in an open car next to a man presumed to be the mayor of Los Angeles, Meredith P. Snyder. The view is a close up, so while there are portions of the crowd, buildings, and other features, they are incomplete. On the reverse of the item, printed on postcard paper, is an identifying ink inscription. Aside from light soiling, there is little wear and the item is in good condition.
