"General view of South Alhambra, Calif.," June 1928. The view, taken from an elevated area, perhaps on a hill, appears to be Edgewood Square in the southwestern part of the town, perhaps near the border with the El Sereno neighborhood of Los Angeles. While there is much open space and some farm and ranch property, generally in the foreground, there are also some new residences springing up and what appears to be more development in the background to the north. Along a road is a low-lying billboard promoting Edgewood Square. The title and date are typed on the reverse. With some edge rubbing and slight soiling, the condition is good.
