"Geography Games," by Myra King (Revised ed., New York: Educational Publishing Company, 1925 [1919]). Subtitled "A Method of Teaching Geography in Primary Grades" and by a Los Angeles resident who'd published three other elementary education books, the work has introductions by Los Angeles Board of Education member Melville Dozier and Assistant Superintendent (later Superintendent) Susan Dorsey. There are sixty-two games dealing with various geographical subjects, including hemispheres, rivers, island, countries, states, races, industries, products, modes of transportation, and others. Each has a short instruction and space for notes. With soiled, rubbed and slightly stained boards and browned but clean pages, the condition is fair.Lexicon
